May 24th, 2017 "Dining Days"

This fund raiser supports the Chapter by providing funds to purchase JROTC Leadership Awards and Gold Bars for the two ROTC Units in the Charlotte. Chapter Members and family and friends are welcome to participate by taking the attached flyer to the California Pizza Kitchen at South Park Mall on May 24th any time of the day.

COL & Mrs. Fred Black (Ret) Citizens of The Year

Our recent speaker, NCCOC President COL Jeri Graham, USA (Ret), has provided a Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce news release announcing Fred and Sylvia Black as 2014 Citizens of the Year. COL Black is a former President of the North Carolina Council of Chapters, long active in MOAA activities and has been our speaker and installer at past Charlotte-Metrolina meetings. He continues to be very active with MOAA activities and has made significant contributions to the 4th Branch and other veterans coalition groups working to extend Bailey-Patton benefits to all NC Veterans. The news release is posted on the NCCOC website under News and Events.
